How Do You Report Somebody On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the display, type in the name of the individual you want to report, tap their name, and then tap their profile image.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the user's page, just listed below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up an additional food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap among the following alternatives in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Claiming to Be Somebody option or the I Want to Assist option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some more information?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the bottom of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web internet browser. This will certainly open your News Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, type in the name of the individual you wish to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Conversely, locate and also click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo at the top of their account page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.

7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your record has actually been sent.
